@ChrisWillx @hubermanlab As someone who did some of the early work on dopamine signaling in humans, this quote sounds like nonsense to me. Much of this dopamine loathing is based on inappropriate extrapolations from some substances of abuse. And it's unwarranted.

Social Media is a hormetic drug: beneficial in low doses, toxic in high doses. The problem is that is that it's inherently designed to be 'engaging' (the Soylicon Valley euphemism for addictive).
