2 weeks ago Github Codespaces was the stupidest thing I'd ever heard of. Why would I ever want that? Now? Now I never want to go back. Fuck it I'm all in, cloud dev env is 100% the future. I genuinely feel sorry for people who can't use it.

I’m going to make a new website for my lab. How hard could that be? I’ll use Jekyll. To get Jekyll I need to update Ruby. To update Ruby I need to update homebrew. Homebrew update fails.

What comes after Git? It's been 15 years since it was created. SVN was created 5 years before Git. CVS was 15 years before SVN I'm not talking about GitHub. Naming silliness aside, we'll be fine I mean version control. Feels due for some new thinking
